WOULD I HAVE TO PROVIDE MY OWN INSURANCE?

In most cases, vanpool coordinators (VPCs) will put the insurance under their personal policy and K.A.K. will reimburse up to and not to exceed $600. If it’s cheaper for K.A.K. to add VPCs under our policy, then that too is an option.

ARE MAINTENANCES AND SERVICES INCLUDED WITH THE VEHICLE?

Maintenance and services are included with the vehicle. VPCs will be held liable if any services or repairs were caused due to negligence.

AM I ALLOWED TO ADD A SECONDARY DRIVER?

Secondary drivers are NOT allowed, because only the VPC is covered under the insurance policy as an operator and the Memorandum of Agreement that the VPC signed doesn’t cover secondary drivers
***MEDICAL EMERGENCIES ARE EXCLUDED***

IS THERE A MINIMUM-YEAR LEASE REQUIREMENT?

No minimum requirement, but VPC can and shall be replaced if failure to adhere to the detailed instructions that are outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).

HOW DO I BOOK WITH K.A.K.?

First, you must be an approved participant in the Transit Incentive Program (TIP) or Mass Transportation Benefits Program (MTBP)

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT PROCESS?

Payment options are determined on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at kvps@kakvapool.com for more information regarding payment options.
